got2befunky..... the story so far.

'got2befunky' was the brainchild of UK DJ Si Forestiero back in 1999 and became the brand he used to describe his sets in some of the UK's biggest club, bar and festival brands for the next 15 years.

Having started DJing in 1986, Forestiero set up got2befunky when he began playing full time, inspired by James Brown's intro to 'Make It Funky':

Bobby Byrd : "What you gon' play now?"

James Brown : "Bobby!  I don't know.  But whatsoever I play, it's GOT TO BE FUNKY"

Before he moved to Dubai in 2014, got2befunky became the 'go to' brand for eclectic, mixed-genre sets full of mixed-up party breaks, rocking parties from the Ministry of Sound, Cafe Mambo Ibiza, Wet Republic Las Vegas, Global Gathering to Chuff Chuff, God's Kitchen, Manchester Pride, Retro, Hed Kandi and Babooshka among many others and alongside the likes of Norman Jay MBE, Roger Sanchez, Joey Negro, Graeme Park and Full Intention.

got2befunky also was the name Forestiero used for his radio shows on Manchester's KEY103 and Unity Radio

Now, under his latest DJing moniker djSalvPepp, Forestiero is bring got2befunky back to its new home of the UAE!
